Who am I?
Hi, I'm Ellen, I use He/Him and They/Them pronouns. I have lived in Canberra for most of my life and have come to love this city for it's beautiful natural environment and the diversity of its people.
Identity
I am a neurodivergent queer Australian. I identify with the labels trans-masculine, non-binary and pan/demisexual. I am still part way through my gender transition and take joy in every little step forward. I am also an intersectional feminist and advocate for social justice.

Counselling
I Decided to study counselling so that I can support my community in a way that is meaningful to me. I started my Master of Counselling at the University of Canberra in August 2022. I intend to specialise in gender and sexuality counselling so that I will be well equipped to support people who, like me, are learning more about themselves every day and navigating life through a rainbow lens. Further career goals include becoming a recognised sexologist and developing educational resources related to diversity in gender, sexuality and relationships, with this website as my starting point.

Inspiration and interests
My interest in queer education and counselling has been influenced by a lot of different sources over the years. Some of my go-to programs are: The Hook Up (Triple J), You Can't Ask That (ABC TV), LADIES we need to talk (ABC podcast), Where should we begin with Esther Perel (podcast) and Multiamory (podcast). Through exploration of my interest in queer education, I have also found a love for education around alternative relationship practices, ethical non-monogamy and kink.
Outside of my queer interests, I am also an avid animal lover, gamer and have many artistic and creative hobbies.
